Membership

Membership in the Seattle chapter means access to a local network of HR professionals, as well as professional-development programs, products and services in our community that can broaden your skills and make you more valuable to your organization.   It is because of our members that we are able to provide programs to our professional HR community.

To join click "Join Now" at the top of the page.  If you need to renew your membership, now is the time to do it.  Please click "Renew Membership" at the top of the page.

The Seattle chapter is a 100% affiliated chapter which means that all of our members must also be members of SHRM national.  For every member that designates Seattle (chapter #100) as their primary chapter, we receive chapter financial support from SHRM national.  This financial support helps us continue to provide valuable programs to our members.  Please consider designating Seattle as your primary chapter.  You can update this information by visiting your profile at www.shrm.org or by filling out a Chapter Designation Form and email to membership@shrm-seattle.com.

Which Membership Should I Choose?

Professional Membership ($65):  The majority of our members will choose the Professional Membership.  This is for individual members involved in the HR field.

Professional (In-Transition) Membership ($50):  The Professional (In-Transition) membership is for those who are currently unemployed and looking for work.  We hope that our meetings, communication, and networking opportunities assist our members in-transition in finding their next great career opportunity.

Student Membership (Free):  Seattle SHRM supports students who are already members of the national organization by offering a free membership so that they can also take advantage of our website resources and receive invitations to our chapter meetings.  We realize that students are the future of the human resource profession and want to incorporate them into our professional community.
